What to Expect on the Inspection Visit
Our estimator arrives at your Dallas-area home or business at the scheduled time, introduces themselves, and asks to see the floor. The inspection takes 20–30 minutes and includes:
- Measuring the full slab area (most homeowners underestimate square footage by 15–20%)
- Photographing any cracks, spalling, staining, or existing coatings
- Running a moisture vapor emission assessment on any slab that shows signs of moisture activity
- Identifying any prep work (crack repair, spalling removal, existing coating removal) needed before the coating install
Within 24 hours of the visit, you receive a written itemized quote via email. The quote lists every line item with a fixed price. It doesn’t change on install day unless you add scope.
What to Have Ready
- Clear access to the floor — remove vehicles from the garage before the estimator arrives if possible
- Any knowledge of past coatings on the floor (paint, sealer, previous epoxy kit)
- Any known moisture or water issues (standing water after rain, seasonal dampness)
- Approximate square footage if you have it — our estimator will measure anyway, but it helps set expectations
